Dalhousie University’s MScN is a 2-year, thesis-based, campus program focused on preparing students for research and academic careers in nursing. Guided by a philosophy of primary health care, the curriculum combines coursework, seminars, research projects, and a research thesis supervised by faculty. The program develops analytical skills and research capacity, with special emphasis on health equity, systems, and collaboration across disciplines. Graduates are prepared for leadership, doctoral studies, and advanced health practice roles.
