Dalhousie University's MSc Speech-Language Pathology is a three-year, full-time professional graduate program combining academic coursework, extensive clinical practica, and a research project or thesis. It prepares students to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across the lifespan, integrating both consultative and intervention services. Upon graduation, students are eligible to apply for certification by Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC) and for licensure in any Canadian province. Career opportunities include hospitals, schools, private clinics, rehabilitation centers, long-term care, early intervention programs, and research institutions.
