Dalhousie University's Master of Arts (Classics) program provides rigorous graduate-level study focused on the ancient, late-ancient, and medieval worlds. The program is highly regarded for its strengths in Greek and Roman history, Greek and Latin literature, and a distinct tradition in ancient philosophy. Students benefit from small graduate seminars, in-depth discussion of ancient texts using original languages, close mentoring, and opportunities to serve as teaching assistants. Graduates are well-prepared for PhD programs or for academic or professional careers requiring expertise in ancient languages and independent research. The program supports research in areas not traditionally included in Classics departments, such as late-antique and medieval philosophy and religion. 来源： https://www.dal.ca/faculty/arts/classics.html
