Dalhousie University's Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering is a 4-year undergraduate program designed to train engineers in solving environmental challenges, such as ensuring clean water, managing waste, and remediating hazards. The first two years build a strong foundation in core engineering, mathematics, sciences, and design, which can be taken at either Halifax or Truro campus. After successfully completing the core, students transfer to the Environmental Engineering discipline in years 3 and 4, with options for technical electives and co-op placement. The curriculum covers water and wastewater treatment, air quality, pollution control, energy conservation, and more, preparing graduates for diverse careers locally and globally. Average class sizes are 20-30 students, and both on-campus and off-campus accommodation are available.
