Dalhousie University's Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering provides a modern curriculum that addresses current science and technology needs, emphasizing both theoretical and applied aspects of electrical engineering. In the first two years, all students complete a general engineering core focusing on math, science, and engineering science. Upon completion, students apply to their discipline and enter the specialized three-year upper division, which delivers in-depth training in areas such as power systems, signal processing, telecommunications, control systems, and more. Students may select either a standard 4-year non-co-op track or a 5-year co-op option that includes paid, work-integrated terms with industry partners. Graduates are well-prepared for careers in aerospace, computers, energy, semiconductors, manufacturing, and further graduate study.
