Dalhousie University's Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering prepares students to optimize processes and systems by finding ways to save time, money, energy, and materials, while enhancing efficiency, sustainability, and safety. The first two years establish a foundation in mathematics, science, and engineering design, offered at either the Truro or Halifax campus. Students then transition into Industrial Engineering, learning to analyze data, build mathematical models, and develop systems to advance industries including manufacturing, healthcare, airlines, and more. A co-op option is available, enabling students to gain paid work experience alongside academic study.
