The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) at Dalhousie University is a four-year undergraduate program offered by the Faculty of Arts and Social Science. Honours options are available in specialized fields, allowing students to undertake independent research, advanced coursework, and often a thesis project under faculty supervision. The program is designed for able and ambitious students aiming for academic rigor and is especially recommended for those planning graduate studies. Honours students are expected to demonstrate higher academic standards, complete focused coursework in their chosen discipline(s), and often produce an original research project. Admission to the Honours program typically occurs at the end of the second or third year and is subject to specific departmental criteria. 来源： https://www.dal.ca/faculty/arts/politicalscience/programs/undergraduate-programs/honours-program.html
