The MN-NP program at the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, University of Toronto is a hybrid (online & in-person) graduate program designed for Registered Nurses seeking advanced practice as Nurse Practitioners. The curriculum combines virtual classes, simulation-based learning, and three on-campus residencies. Practicum placements are individually designed and take place across four core courses in hospital and community settings, all within Ontario (mainly GTA). Starting in Fall 2026, clinical placements may also occur at the new Scarborough Academy of Medicine and Integrated Health (SAMIH) site. The program builds foundational knowledge and advanced clinical competencies for providing care to patients of all ages, aligning with the new national NP entry-to-practice exam. The cohort model ensures close mentorship and interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
