The MSc in Dental Public Health at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto is a comprehensive, accredited two-year graduate program (extendable to five years for part-time students). The program combines didactic coursework, seminars, research practicum, and a thesis. Students gain expertise in oral disease prevention, health promotion at both individual and population levels, biostatistics, epidemiology, health administration, and policy. The program is accredited in Canada and reciprocally recognized in the US, preparing graduates for national and specialty board examinations. Full-time residency with in-person learning is required. The program is open to dental professionals and qualified dental hygienists with a four-year degree. Upon successful completion, graduates receive an MSc and are eligible for dental specialty certification.
