The Combined Degree Program (CDP) in Exceptionality in Human Learning (Specialist) HBSc/Master of Arts in Child Study & Education is designed for students passionate about human development, exceptionality, educational psychology, and diversity. Students complete an Honours Bachelor of Science in Exceptionality in Human Learning, followed by a Master of Arts in Child Study & Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. During the undergraduate phase, students take foundational and advanced courses in psychology and exceptionality, such as cognitive development, language acquisition, and contemporary issues in disability and education. In their third year, eligible students apply to the MA program, where graduate-level courses begin as early as year four.
