The Master of Biotechnology (MBiotech) at University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) is a 24-month, course-based professional graduate program. It is designed for science graduates who seek advanced training at the intersection of science and business, preparing them for careers in the biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, and digital health industries. The program offers two streams: Biopharmaceuticals (BioPh) and Digital Health Technologies (DHT). All students complete integrated science and business coursework and undertake 8 to 12 months of paid industry internship. The program is interdisciplinary, taught by faculty from Biology, Chemical & Physical Sciences, and Management, as well as industry experts.
