The Bachelor of Music Education program at the University of Regina is a 5-year undergraduate degree offered jointly by the Faculty of Media, Art, and Performance and the Faculty of Education. This program provides comprehensive training in music, music pedagogy, and education, complemented by individual applied study on a chosen instrument or voice. Unique to this degree is an extensive internship involving supervised contact hours within the public school system. Graduates are awarded the Professional "A" Certificate by the Provincial Department of Education and are fully qualified for careers as music educators, teachers, private instructors, and arts administrators.
