The Cultures of Display program, offered as a concentration within the Bachelor of Arts, Media, Art, and Performance Major at the University of Regina, is tailored for students with interests in curatorial work, museums, galleries, and cultural institutions. The curriculum includes focused studies in art history, visual arts, sociology, creative technologies, and theatre studies, and emphasizes both critical and practical curatorial and display aspects. The program aims to meet the demand for specialized training in the curation and organization of visual and performance art, preparing graduates for a variety of roles in arts organizations including curators, art directors, and preparators. Experiential learning and close interaction with faculty are core to the educational experience.
