The Bachelor of Science in Honours Science at the University of Waterloo is the most flexible program within the Faculty of Science, allowing students to take a range of courses in chemistry, biology, physics, earth sciences, mathematics, and more. Over half of the courses are electives, enabling a customized curriculum that aligns with students’ unique interests and career goals. The program provides an excellent foundation for various science-related careers and is structured to meet entrance requirements for professional programs (e.g., medicine, dentistry, optometry). Students can add minors or specialized options such as Bioinformatics. Graduates are prepared for diverse career paths or further studies in the sciences.
