The Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) at Renison University College, University of Waterloo, is a full-time professional program accredited by the Canadian Association for Social Work Education (CASWE). It is designed to prepare students for ethical, critically reflective, anti-oppressive, and accountable social work practice. The program combines academic coursework (two days/week on campus) and field practicum experience (three days/week in social service settings) over 10 months. Upon successful completion, graduates earn an Honours BSW degree and are eligible to apply for Master of Social Work programs in Canada and the U.S..
