The Master of Arts (Philosophy) at the University of Guelph, College of Arts, offers two flexible streams: a one-year coursework and major research project stream, or a two-year thesis stream. Both streams provide intensive training across philosophical subfields and are supported by a collegial, research-focused department. The program features a core MA Seminar and allows specialization across a broad range of topics such as ethics, feminist philosophy, philosophy of science, and more. Students benefit from close mentorship, opportunities for teaching assistantships, and an inclusive, active graduate student community. Graduates pursue successful careers in academia, public policy, and beyond.
