The Master of Science (Physics) program at the University of Guelph is a research-oriented graduate program jointly offered through the College of Computational, Mathematical, and Physical Sciences, in collaboration with the University of Waterloo. Students may pursue either a thesis-based or coursework plus major research project stream. The program covers a wide range of modern physics fields, such as astrophysics, applied physics, quantum computing, and biophysics. Students complete graduate coursework and conduct original research under the guidance of faculty advisors. Graduates are well-prepared for progression to doctoral studies or for careers in academia, industry, and government.
