The Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Governance at the College of Social and Applied Human Sciences, University of Guelph, provides an interdisciplinary foundation in geography, political science, and resource economics. The program develops understanding of environmental change and governance, integrating case studies, policy analysis, and real-world applications involving government, NGOs, businesses, and communities. Students can tailor electives toward Indigenous governance, environmental campaigns, or environmental politics, and can pursue a co-op option for professional experience. Graduates are prepared for careers in public sector agencies, environmental NGOs, consulting, sustainability management, and serve as a strong foundation for further studies such as environmental law.
